Beautiful farm fresh eggs! π
Washed all the eggs last night from yesterday and oiled them afterwards. π Aren’t they just gorgeous?! Which color is your favorite in this picture? Mine is the light blue one right in the middle. (It’s such a subtle blue, it looks almost white in the picture.)
I love my baby chickens! πππ
I like those real dark brown ones. What kind of chicken lays them?
ReplyDeleteOh, yes! Those are beautiful! They’re from our hen “Joy.” She’s a black copper Maran. (My sister Faith, owns her. π)
DeleteMy! Those are gorgeous eggs! π₯
ReplyDeleteI like them all! Especially Joy’s dark/chocolate eggs & my Zoe’s green eggs! πππππ

DeleteIs it hard to raise chickens? I’m interested in farm life and homesteading.
ReplyDeleteIt’s not that hard. Chickens are a lot easier than goats. It gets easier as the years go by with more experience. π
DeleteVery pretty! What does the oil do?
ReplyDeleteOiling them ensures that we can leave them on the counter for up to 4 months. Thusly, saving room in the fridge! Which is quite necessary in a large family. Haha
