Beautiful farm fresh eggs! ๐Ÿ“

Washed all the eggs last night from yesterday and oiled them afterwards. ๐Ÿ™‚ Aren’t they just gorgeous?! Which color is your favorite in this picture? Mine is the light blue one right in the middle. (It’s such a subtle blue, it looks almost white in the picture.)

I love my baby chickens! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™

  1. I like those real dark brown ones. What kind of chicken lays them?

    1. Oh, yes! Those are beautiful! They’re from our hen “Joy.” She’s a black copper Maran. (My sister Faith, owns her. ๐Ÿ™‚)

  3. Is it hard to raise chickens? I’m interested in farm life and homesteading.

    1. It’s not that hard. Chickens are a lot easier than goats. It gets easier as the years go by with more experience. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Oiling them ensures that we can leave them on the counter for up to 4 months. Thusly, saving room in the fridge! Which is quite necessary in a large family. Haha
