Yeah, the ocean is a pretty scary thing! Actually, twice I’ve had a scary experience in it. When I was 8 I got caught in a rip current, and panicked, so I didn’t think to swim to the right, instead I wore myself out swimming straight ahead, and was getting nowhere. I remember collapsing on the sand from exhaustion when I finally made it out. The second day one, me and Hope were out buggy boarding, and didn’t realize that we were drifting further and further out to sea. Thankfully there was a surfer out there who gladly brought us back!
