Basically, during rut season, bucks spray their own beard with urine, and they drink the females urine to see where their hormones are at, and then do flehming. Yeah, let’s just say, they’re different. ๐
What?! You don’t want one of those cuddly creatures? ๐ Really though, it’s not that bad. Rut season is September-December, and the rest of the year they don’t do that. It is hard dealing with their hormonal attitudes during this time though. I still love my smelly Buck, anyway. ๐ He doesn’t know what he’s doing. It’s just instinctive.
They practically lose their mind during rut season. They starve themselves and lose weight too, that’s why they live less than the females. Deer do the same thing. When they spray themselves, my Dad calls it “putting on their cologne.” Because the girl goats are turned on by that smell, and really like it; weirdly enough! Haha
Oh I know..I'm just teasing you really. Lol. ๐ if I avoided animals over moments of grossness then I'd have to avoid all of them because they all have their moments (they are animals after all, lol. ) how am I supposed to get those adorable little baby goats without a patriarch goat? Heehee. Also male Elk are probably one of my favorite animals ever (so majestic! )and they also do that urine spraying thing ๐ฑ
Haha! Demi smells like somethin’ awful! ๐ซค That’s why I love my beautiful girl goats! They always smell like flowers! ๐ธ
ReplyDeleteHaha! You’re so mean! Demi said, “It’s not easy being a guy!” ๐
DeleteHahaha! Very true and funny! But I feel bad for the boys. Really! It’s not easy being a boy! ;)
ReplyDeleteI know, it’s not. They need our sympathy. ๐
DeleteI'm a little scared to ask what this means. Lol.
